Privacy Policy
Livez (“we”, “us”) is a link-in-bio for live comedy & theatre artists — a place to publish upcoming shows and let fans follow. This policy explains what we collect and why, in plain terms.
What we collect
- Artists (registered users): your email address, and the profile details you choose to add — stage name, handle, city, bio, social links, profile photo, and your shows (title, venue, date, tickets, posters, co-artists).
- Fans: your email address only when you choose to follow an artist or set a reminder for a show, so we can notify you.
- Suggestions: the text (and optional email) you submit via “Suggest a feature”.
- Technical: we store a small amount of data in your browser (localStorage) to remember your session and which pages you follow. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Why we use it
- To show artist pages and their upcoming shows.
- To authenticate artists and let them manage their page.
- To send emails you asked for: sign-up confirmation, and notifications about shows you follow.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
Who processes your data
We use a few trusted service providers to run Livez. We don’t sell your data.
- Supabase — database, authentication and file storage (hosted in the EU). Privacy Policy.
- Resend — sends our emails (confirmation and notifications). Privacy Policy.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — protects our sign-in and sign-up from bots. Your use of the Turnstile widget is subject to Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy and Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
- GitHub Pages — hosts the website.
Public information
An artist’s page (name, handle, bio, photo, social links and shows) is public by design — that’s the point of a shareable link. Fan emails and reminders are private and never shown publicly.
Your rights
You can ask to access or delete your data at any time. Artists can edit or delete their own profile and shows from the Studio. To delete your account or a follow, or for any privacy question, contact us at hello@livez.art.
Changes
We may update this policy as Livez grows. The “last updated” date above will change when we do.
